ABOUT OUR COURSES
FULL-TIME STUDIES
Embark on a comprehensive educational journey with Lärkkulla's full-time study program, spanning 9 months from August to May. This program offers 36 credits and encompasses 864 lessons. Students can choose to pursue their studies in English, Finnish, or Swedish. Additionally, these languages can be studied as major subjects or combined with a secondary language, allowing for a tailored and versatile learning experience.
COMBINE LANGUAGES AND MUSIC
For those with a passion for music and a desire to enhance their language skills, Lärkkulla Combined presents an ideal opportunity. This unique combo course is perfect for aspiring musicians who need proficiency in Finnish or English to qualify for university-level music programs in Finland or abroad. The course seamlessly integrates language learning with musical development, preparing students for future academic and professional endeavours.
SHORT COURSES
Lärkkulla Languages also provides shorter course modules in Swedish, Finnish, and English throughout the academic year. These courses are designed to offer flexibility and concentrated learning for those unable to commit to a full-time program. Additionally, intensive summer courses in Finnish and English are available, providing an immersive and stimulating environment for accelerated learning.

Life at Lärkkulla
Lärkkulla is easily reached by train from Helsinki or Turku. Walking to Lärkkulla from the centre of Karis takes about 25 minutes. There are also skiing tracks, forest trails and beautiful scenery near our school.
Lärkkulla's gym, tennis court, table tennis and library facilities are there for you to enjoy. The municipality of Raseborg also boasts a swimming pool, two cinemas, ski slopes as well as several cosy cafés and cultural attractions.
Lärkkulla organises student union events, activities, concerts, parties and workshops throughout the academic year. These activities are part of the curriculum for which you receive one credit for participation.
